YUNGBLUD recruits Halsey, Travis Barker for “11 Minutes”

The song’s about “a perfect tragedy that reflects modern love within our society.”

YUNGBLUD has dropped a hypnotic new song, “11 Minutes” featuring Halsey and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker.

Produced by Matt Schwartz, Zakk Cervini, and Chris Greatti, the track melds moody instrumentals with heart-wrenching vocals and lyrics about a relationship sabotaged by society before it’s even begun.

“The song tells the story of a perfect tragedy that reflects modern love within our society,” YUNGBLUD commented. “We are so distracted and focused on what’s next, we can fail to see what is actually in front of us. We don’t realize how much we need something until it’s taken away from us.”

“Working with Halsey and Travis was a fucking dream—at the end of the day we’re all rock kids,” the British artist added. “We grew up with a mutual adoration for the genre so it completely makes sense that we would come together and try to modernize it.”

YUNGBLUD released his debut album, 21st Century Liability, last year. Listen to “11 Minutes” below:
