Watch Jenny Lewis’ laid-back NPR ‘Tiny Desk’ performance

Two songs from ‘On the Line,’ as well as an older fan favorite.

Jenny Lewis recently dropped by the NPR Music office for a performance at the publication’s famed Tiny Desk.

The former Rilo Kiley frontwoman kicked things off with a stripped-back rendition of “Rabbit Hole,” which soon turned into an office sing-along. The singer then jumped into another On the Line cut, “Do Si Do.”

Lewis wrapped up her set with fan favorite “Just One of the Guys”—or “JOOTG,” as she called it—from 2014’s The Voyager. During the song, the singer sneaked in a quick remark about Hot Pockets which you’ll have to hear for yourself. Throughout her set, Lewis was backed up by Emily Elbert on guitar and Anna Butterss on upright bass.

Lewis is the latest musician to perform at NPR’s Tiny Desk, following R&B singers Snoh Aalegra and Baby Rose, as well as rock outfit Jimmy Eat World.
