To honor their fallen colleague Chris Cornell, two titans got together at Saturday’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony to deliver a heartfelt cover of “Black Hole Sun.”
Ann Wilson of Heart and Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains didn’t need anything more than a microphone and a guitar to command the cover. Their take on the Soundgarden classic is yearning, emotionally raw and—even if you’re not a fan of the Seattle band—will catch you right in the feels.
