Watch Franz Ferdinand perform “Feel the Love Go” on ‘The Late Show’

Special guest James Chance takes on saxophone duties in this lively and energetic live performance by the Scottish indie band.

Franz Ferdinand took to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert a few nights ago to perform “Feel the Love Go,” and it was thunderous.

Amid funky basslines and guitar riffs, frontman Alex Kapranos struts across the stage with the charisma of Thin White Duke-era Bowie (or Billy Idol, with that ’do). And as the performance blooms to a climax, sax virtuoso James Chance bursts in with a flurry of notes to take the track into sheer ecstasy.

“Feel the Love Go” comes off Franz Ferdinand’s fifth studio album, Always Ascending, which dropped in February.
