Watch Faye Webster’s video for “Better Distractions”

The indie artist hangs out with clones of herself in the new clip.

Faye Webster has released a video for her lush new single, “Better Distractions.”

The Atlanta singer-songwriter “wrote this song kinda without knowing I was writing it,” she said in a statement. “It’s a kind of free association, just thoughts running straight from my head onto paper untouched.” The music video goes in an appropriately whimsical direction: Webster bounces on a trampoline, plays guitar and makes pancakes—accompanied by two clones of herself.

“Better Distractions” is Webster’s second track of 2020, following “In a Good Way,” which she dropped in April. She released her third studio album, Atlanta Millionaires Club, last year.

Webster has also announced a one-off ticketed livestream on October 6 to mark the single’s release. It’ll be performed from the Athens, Georgia studio Chase Park Transduction, where “Better Distractions” was recorded. Find more info on the livestream here.
