Underworld, Iggy Pop team up for new track, “Bells & Circles”

    Here’s what happens when two underground icons come together.

    Not too long ago, Iggy Pop once mentioned that electronic dance music makes him want to die. His words, not ours. But it seems like all that has changed now, or maybe Underworld are an exception.

    The British techno-trance duo has partnered up with Godfather of Punk to create “Bells & Circles,” a pounding techno choon with Pop giving a spoken-word monologue: “Nobody wants you to be able to do the things that make you feel good like, you can’t smoke on the airplane / I remember smoking on the airplane / I used to love to smoke on the airplane.”

    The song—and his speech—goes on for about seven-and-a-half minutes. Listen to it below:
