Turnover have announced their upcoming album Altogether with the tracks “Much After Feeling” and “Plant Sugar.”

On “Much After Feeling,” the rock band delve into poppier territory as vocalist Austin Getz croons over delicate guitar riffs and groovy basslines. “I want to stay out / I’m wide awake / Everyone I know here came / I’m thinking about a different place,” he sings.

The song was accompanied with a woozy VHS-esque video directed by Jennifer Juniper Stratford, where Getz performs in a white jumpsuit on a set with retro-futuristic props akin to that of the iconic ’80s space edutainment program, Cosmos.

The jangle pop track “Plant Sugar” is the more energetic of the two, and couples a driving bass rhythm with an infectious guitar riff. “Yesterday I was worried so sick / Now it feels like I’m lucky instead / Underneath the sequoia and pine / Let them plant sugar in my head,” Getz sings.

Altogether will arrive November 1 via Run for Cover Records. While you wait for the album, check out the video for “Much After Feeling” below:
