Thom Yorke and Flea of Red Hot Chili Peppers have released “Daily Battles,” a track from the new Edward Norton movie, Motherless Brooklyn.

A delicate ballad, “Daily Battles” is embellished with saloon-style pianos and the Radiohead leader’s signature falsetto: “Lock your dreams away / You’re  waking up / Enough about / Your broken heart.” Flea, who’s worked with Yorke in the supergroup Atoms for Peace, comes on to provide bass and trumpets that recede and intensify. Released alongside the track was a stellar jazz instrumental version of the track arranged by Wynton Marsalis.

Yorke’s last solo album ANIMA dropped in June, which was accompanied by a 15-minute short film directed by Paul Thomas Anderson. Last year, Yorke provided the acclaimed score for the Suspiria remake.
