The Kills have announced a new B-sides and rarities album titled Little Bastards.
In December, Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince will release the 20-track collection, which is titled after the affectionate nickname they gave a Roland 880 drum machine they made all their beats on early in their career.
Little Bastards will feature tracks such as “I Call it Art,” the duo’s contribution to a 2006 Serge Gainsbourg tribute album, and covers of Howlin’ Wolf and Screamin’ Jay Hawkins. It will also include the previously unheard demo “Raise Me,” which dates back to the band’s Midnight Boom era and is available now.
The Kills’ last studio album was 2016’s Ash and Ice. Earlier this year, Mosshart released the spoken word record Sound Wheel, and the solo songs “It Ain’t Water” and “Rise.”
