The Breeders transform into puppets in “Nervous Mary” video

It’s like the ’90s all over again.

American alt-rockers The Breeders have just shared the dates for their upcoming world tour in support of their latest album, All Nerve. In addition to the announcement, they’ve dropped a quirky homemade video for their track “Nervous Mary,” in which the Deal sisters are played by puppets.

Directed and filmed by the band, the video is set on the streets of Nijmegen in The Netherlands and features “live vocals off camera.” The hand puppets of Kim and Kelley in the clip are described as gifts sent from Finnish fan and professional puppet-maker Milla Risku. But even as dolls, the sisters don’t miss a beat—their caricatures headbang and hair whip to the song’s pulsating tune.

Be sure to check out the group’s official website for tour deets.
