Sharon Van Etten has returned with a gorgeous video for her new single, “Beaten Down.”

For the striking black-and-white clip, the singer enlisted twin dancers Allison and Veronica Huber to perform a mesmerizing contemporary routine. The visual also features scenes of Van Etten sitting on a horse in the middle of an empty field.

“‘Beaten Down’ is about love, patience, and empathy,” Van Etten said in a press statement. “It’s about making life-changing choices and remaining strong enough to see them through.”

Last year, Van Etten released her fourth studio album, Remind Me Tomorrow, which featured the songs “Jupiter 4” and “Comeback Kid.” She also collaborated with actor and pianist Jeff Goldblum on a cover of “Let’s Face the Music and Dance.”
