Rock out with Priests in their new video for “Jesus’ Son”

From ‘The Seduction of Kansas,’ out this Friday.

Priests have released “Jesus’ Son,” a new single from their sophomore album, The Seduction of Kansas, due out this Friday.

For “Jesus’ Son,” the Washington, DC band jump back into their signature off-kilter punk sound, jettisoning the synth flourishes of the previously released title track. This new song arrived with a video of the band performing the fiery track live.

The song’s title is taken from “Lou Reed’s declaration that he felt ‘just like Jesus’ son’ way back when, a statement that launched a thousand others who perhaps too have felt like the son of god at one point or another,” Priests said in a press release.
