Phish have officially released a time-lapse video that captures the very lifeblood of their spectacular live shows: the insanely intricate lighting rig.
The jam band are currently on their annual run of shows at Madison Square Garden. Those lucky enough to attend have enjoyed covers of everything from Led Zeppelin, Taj Mahal and the Rolling Stones. Phish have even played music by their faux alter-ego band Kasvot Växt.
The new video release, however, is something everyone can enjoy. The six-minute-long timelapse video is a distillation of Phish’s entire July 28, 2018 show in Inglewood, California, and is a sight to behold. It perfectly demonstrates just how complex the band’s lighting systems are. To cap things off, the visual is soundtracked with fan favorite, 46 Days
