Pearl Jam release “Dance of the Clairvoyants”

The first taste of their new album, ‘Gigaton.’

Pearl Jam have released “Dance of the Clairvoyants,” the first song from their upcoming album, Gigaton.

Driven by a glittering synth line, sharp guitar riffs and frontman Eddie Vedder’s emphatic delivery, “Dance of the Clairvoyants” is an exciting preview of Gigaton. In a statement, bassist Jeff Ament described the song as “a perfect storm of experimentation and real collaboration.” He added, “We’ve opened some new doors creatively and that’s exciting.”

“Dance of the Clairvoyants” is one of 12 tracks on Gigaton, which the grunge stalwarts officially announced last week. Due out March 27, the album will be their first in seven years, following Lightning Bolt. The LP will be Pearl Jam’s first co-production with producer Josh Evans.
