James Bay and Mick Jagger joined forces on a duet of The Rolling Stones’ classic, “Beast of Burden,” at last night’s show at Twickenham Stadium in London.

Bay, whose latest album Electric Light was released last May, opened for the legendary band on the final night of their UK stadium tour. Looking relaxed in a black shirt and shiny silver pants, the singer more than held his own on his duet with Jagger.

Afterwards, Bay wrote on Instagram: “This band have probably shaped the way I make music and perform more than anyone else. Their relentless passion and energy on stage is so inspiring. I can’t believe last night was real.”

This marks the second time Bay has collaborated with the English rockers. In 2015, Stones’ guitarist Ronnie Wood teamed up with the singer to perform “(You Know) I’m Losing You”, a song by Wood’s former band, The Faces.

The surprise appearance also adds to the Stones’ star-studded list of guest performers on the tour, which include Florence and the Machines, Liam Gallagher, and the Vaccines.
