Hear Waxahatchee cover Dolly Parton and Bruce Springsteen

As bonus tracks on the deluxe edition of ‘Saint Cloud.’

Waxahatchee has released Saint Cloud +3, a deluxe edition of her 2020 album Saint Cloud featuring three new covers.

Released as part of the one-year anniversary of Saint Cloud, the expanded version of the album includes faithful renditions of “Fruits of My Labor” by Lucinda Williams, “Light of a Clear Blue Morning,” by Dolly Parton and “Streets of Philadelphia” by Bruce Springsteen.

In an Instagram post, Waxahatchee (aka Katie Crutchfield) said that she recorded “Fruits of My Labor” during the sessions for Saint Cloud, while the other two covers were recorded “just for fun” sometime last year with her producer Brad Cook.

Prior to Saint Cloud +3, Waxahatchee teamed up with Chicago band Whitney for a cover of John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads.” The collaboration was released alongside another Whitney cover of “Rain” by SWV.
