Sonic Youth’s Kim Gordon has released “Hungry Baby,” the latest track from her forthcoming debut solo album, No Home Record.

On the vicious track, Gordon delivers raspy vocals over distorted electric guitar riffs and crashing drums. “Hungry baby, get outta town / Put down your limbs, you’ll feel fine / I’m just a man with crazy hand / Let’s make music all day long,” she growls.

Gordon recently revealed that “Hungry Baby” is about sexual harassment. The singer had previously explored the topic on Sonic Youth’s 1992 song “Swimsuit Issue,” but that was just “the tip of the iceberg,” she told The Guardian.

No Home Record will also include the previously released singles, “Sketch Artist” and “Air BnB.” The record arrives this Friday via Matador Records.
