Hear a rare version of David Bowie’s “The Man Who Sold the World”

It will appear on two new Bowie releases.

A previously unreleased recording of the late David Bowie’s 1970 song, “The Man Who Sold the World,” is available to listen now.

The new version is taken from an upcoming album titled ChangesNowBowie, which features nine songs recorded for radio and broadcast by the BBC on Bowie’s 50th birthday on January 8, 1997. The EP will be released in limited quantities on LP and CD for Record Store Day on April 18.

According to a press release, the new recording of “The Man Who Sold the World” will also feature on Is it Any Wonder?, a streaming EP that compiles six rare and previously unreleased recordings from the late English singer. New songs from the project will be released weekly from January 17 onwards, so stay tuned.
