Haim share remixes featuring Taylor Swift, Thundercat

They appear on the extended edition of ‘Women in Music Part III.’

Haim have released an expanded version of their latest album, Women in Music Part III.

It includes a remix of “3am” featuring Thundercat, and a new version of “Gasoline” with additional vocals from none other than Taylor Swift. “Since we released WIMPIII in June, Taylor had always told us that ‘Gasoline’ was her favorite. So when we were thinking about ways to reimagine some of the tracks from the record, we immediately thought of her. She brought such amazing ideas and new imagery to the song and truly gave it a new life,” Haim wrote on Instagram.

“I get sad, you know I get sad / And I can’t look past what I’m sad about / You did me bad / And I did it back / You needed ass, well / What’s wrong with that?” Swift sings on the “Gasoline” rework.

Meanwhile, Thundercat adds a touch of funk to “3am,” including a new outro. “Either way, I’m gonna lose,” he croons. “But I just wanna give / I just can’t stop staring at it.”

Haim released WIMPIII in June last year. They previewed the album with several singles, including “The Steps,” “I Know Alone” and “Don’t Wanna.” Previously released “Summer Girl,” “Now I’m in it” and “Hallelujah” also appear as bonus tracks.

Haim had previously featured on Swift’s Evermore cut “No Body, No Crime,” and appeared in Thundercat’s “Dragonball Durag” video.
