Grey Daze release music video for “Sickness”

Hear vocals from a young Chester Bennington.

Grey Daze, the late Chester Bennington’s pre-Linkin Park band, have released a music video for their new single “Sickness”.

The clip follows a teenager who writes the lyrics to “Sickness” in his bedroom after being bullied by his peers at the skate park. Drummer Sean Dowdell later revealed in a statement that the video is “loosely based on a true story from when Chester was 15 years old.”

“He was being bullied at school and one day suffered a real beating,” Dowdell added. “That was the day I assumed a role as protector and almost older brother figure to Chester that has lasted since, even after his passing.”

“Sickness” is the second preview of Grey Daze’s forthcoming album, Amends, following “What’s in the Eye.” The record, due out April 10, features remastered vocals from Bennington’s time with the band.
