Greta Van Fleet have a new single to transport you back to the ’70s all over again. “When the Curtain Falls,” is unsurprisingly, another riff-heavy, bluesy rock track that’s sure to spur on comparisons to Led Zeppelin. But we’re not complaining.
The Michigan youngsters have brought together all that we love about old-school rock. From frontman Josh Kiszka’s wailing vocals to his brother Jacob’s catchy guitar riffs and electrifying solos, they’ve created one helluva headbanging romp. Following the success of EPs From the Fires and Black Smoke Rising, the band are on an absolute roll with nostalgia-baiting rock hits that you simply don’t find in the genre today.
“When the Curtain Falls” is likely to feature on the group’s highly anticipated debut LP, which has yet to have a release date and name.
