Following the release of “Humility and “Lake Zurich,” Gorillaz have just dropped another fresh track ahead of their album’s release on Friday.  And on “Hollywood,” the band have also brought Snoop Dogg and Jamie Principle along for the ride.

The fifth single taken from their upcoming album The Now Now, “Hollywood” hears the group paying homage to Tinseltown over a seriously groovy electronic beat. “Where the beautiful people at?” Principle asks on the opening of the track before 2D (aka Damon Albarn) joins him on the chorus.

“Hollywood is alright / Hollywood is fragrant / Jealousy is gunfire / It makes you kill the vibe,” the cartoon frontman drawls over the funky production.

Snoop is on fine form, too, jumping in on the second verse to deliver his signature flow. “They wanna eye me down / Tie me down / Knock me off / But I’m a lion in the dog pound / Now, how that sound?”

It’s not the first time Gorillaz have collaborated with either artist. Snoop joined them on 2010’s “Welcome to the World of the Plastic Beach,” and Principle lent his vocals to “Sex Murder Party,” which featured on the group’s 2017 record, Humanz.
