Virtual band Gorillaz have collaborated with rapper slowthai and British punk duo Slaves for the new song, “Momentary Bliss.”

The track’s accompanying video blurs the lines between the Gorillaz’s animated world and real life. It features the virtual band recording the song alongside slowthai and Slaves, as well as their creator and human counterpart Damon Albarn.

“It makes me sick to think you ain’t happy in your skin / It’s weird, a thing to think light bulb don’t blink / Just flickers to them, then it pops and withers / You’re a Turkey Twizzler, you deserve school dinners,” slowthai spits on the chorus.

“Momentary Bliss” is part of Gorillaz’s new series, Song Machine. “Song Machine is a whole new way of doing what we do,” drummer Russel Hobbs said in a press statement. “Gorillaz breaking the mould ’cos the mould got old. World is moving faster than a supercharged particle, so we’ve gotta stay ready to drop. We don’t even know who’s stepping through the studio next.”
