English rock band Foals have just dropped a timely “PSA” video for their Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost – Part 2 album cut, “Wash Off.”

The video features footage of the standard 20-second-long procedure for hand-washing, based on World Health Organization guidelines.

The “Wash Off” video touches on the ongoing global COVID-19 outbreak, which has led to the cancellations of various large-scale music events worldwide. These include the famous and beloved Austin, Texas-based SXSW, which was axed last week, as NME reports – the first time organizers have called off the festival in its 34-year run. The fate of Goldenvoice festivals Coachella and Stagecoach is also in question as the promoter engineers a possible move to October.

Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost – Part 2 also includes the tracks “Into the Surf” and “Black Bull.” Foals released the album last October to the top spot on the UK Albums Chart.
