Chelsea Wolfe’s “Scrape,” the closer on her latest album Hiss Spun, recently got a video treatment, and just like the rest of the goth singer’s visuals, it’s eerie and unsettling.
The clip opens with Wolfe donning a pair of striking patent leather platforms. The moment she stomps on a distortion pedal with her heel, everything goes red and we’re sucked into a hellish, warped world.
It all gets even creepier when Wolfe starts rolling on the floor, her long black hair lashing across her face. “You were the summer / You were the coma,” Wolfe sings, her haunting vocals unmistakable. Elsewhere, the clip features footage from the singer’s North American tour, which wrapped up last month.
