Black Midi have swiftly become one of the most exciting rock acts to come out of the United Kingdom this year, and they’re not wasting their moment. Yesterday, the band announced their debut album, Schlagenheim (which means “hitting home” in German).

The four-piece recorded the album with Speedy Wunderground producer Dan Carey, and quickly: They laid down eight of the LP’s nine tracks in just five days, a press release notes.

And though the notoriously reclusive band have become somewhat less secretive about their activities—especially since signing to Rough Trade Records—they’re still keeping the Schlagenheim tracklist close to the chest, and will only reveal song titles when the album drops.

Schlagenheim arrives June 21. In the meantime, listen to their latest track “Talking Heads” to get a sense of what you can expect.
