Beabadoobee reflects on teenage infidelity in new song “Worth it”

Her album ‘Fake it Flowers’ is out next month.

London artist Beabadoobee has released “Worth it,” the latest single from her upcoming debut LP Fake it Flowers.

“Worth it,” which follows previous singles “Sorry” and “Care,” is an immediately appealing explosion of hooky indie pop. “‘Worth it’ is simply about teenage infidelity and the mistakes one can make when they’re tempted to do things,” Beabadoobee said in a statement. “It’s a bit of a confession song but also an understanding that it’s a part of life.”

The track was premiered on BBC Radio 1 on September 8, shortly after the musician unveiled a United Kingdom and Ireland tour for next year in support of Fake it Flowers.

Aside from the rollout for her debut LP, Beabadoobee also recently appeared in Powfu’s massively successful February release “Death Bed (Coffee for Your Head)” through his sampling of her track “Coffee.”
