Watch Victoria Monét perform “Touch Me” on ‘Colbert’

From her 2020 EP, ‘Jaguar.’

Victoria Monét made an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to perform the fan favorite “Touch Me.”

The R&B singer shows off her vocal abilities on the soulful rendition, which she performed from a sepia-drenched stage with three backing vocalists and a live band. The remote rendition marked the latest episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’s #PlayAtHome series.

“Girl, it’s been too long / And when you rock them short nails, that’s lowkey sentimental / Now keep ’em cut though so there ain’t no incidentals / And I love them tattoos, I still gotta learn ’em all / Tell me when you’re gonna make them the writings on my wall,” she croons.

“Touch Me” arrived last year on Monét’s Jaguar EP and later was re-released as a remix featuring Kehlani. Last month, Monét dropped her first single of the year, “FUCK.”
