Watch Ty Dolla $ign perform with Skrillex for NPR’s ‘Tiny Desk’

Cuts from ‘Featuring Ty Dolla $ign’, plus old fan favorites.

Ty Dolla $ign has returned to NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series, this time to perform songs from his latest album, Featuring Ty Dolla $ign.

Ty drought his A-game – and a few of his high-profile collaborators – for his remote performance. His backing band included Skrillex (as DJ, as well as on guitar), singer Ant Clemons (background vocals) and Grammy-nominated producer Camper (keys). The crooner kicked things off with a soulful rendition of “Temptations,” a cut from his new album.

Ty then hopped back in time with a few of his favorites, such as “Something New,” “Or Nah” and “Paranoid.” The singer then returned to Featuring Ty Dolla $ign to wrap things up, with “Ego Death” and “Your Turn.”

Ty is the latest musician to appear on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series, following Spillage Village, Little Big Town, Jhené Aiko and more. The singer previously appeared on the concert series in 2019, where he performed an emotional tribute to the late Mac Miller.
