Watch dvsn’s cozy ‘Tiny Desk’ performance

The Canadian R&B duo stopped by the NPR office to perform three songs.

Daniel Daley and Nineteen85 of R&B duo dvsn are the latest guests to grace NPR’s Tiny Desk.

Supported by a four-piece band and backing vocalists, Daley put on a pitch-perfect performance while his creative partner/producer Nineteen85 played maestro off-screen. Daley and co vibed out to “Body Smile” and “Mood,” cuts from dvsn’s latest album, Morning Smile. They also performed a third track “Too Deep,” from the Grammy-nominated pair’s 2016 debut, Sept 5th.

But their soulful delivery wasn’t the only thing that made this Tiny Desk performance memorable. Taking things up a notch, dvsn transformed NPR’s office into a cozy concert hall with intimate mood lighting and dozens of candles.
