Ty Dolla $ign and J Cole have released a heartwarming video for their latest collab, “Purple Emoji.”

The Olivia Rose-directed clip is a touching celebration of love that features couples of all ages, races and sexual orientations. Ty and Cole make brief appearances, delivering their lines in front of vibrant blue and pink backgrounds.

“‘Purple Emoji’ instantly connected with me on an authentic level; it’s so amazing to hear that sort of vulnerability from artists who are talking about their day ones and a love that we can all relate to,” Rose said in a press release. “I wanted to stay true to the lyrics and create a video that showed real couples, real friends, real siblings and the tiniest of actions of intimacy they share.”

“Purple Emoji” is the first single from Ty’s forthcoming album, following 2017’s Beach House 3. He also recently collaborated with Korean singer Katie on “Remember” and Little Mix on “Think About Us.”
