Tiana Major9 is ‘Back At Sixes and Sevens’ with latest EP

Featuring acoustic reworks of ‘At Sixes and Sevens’ cuts.

Tiana Major9 has shared her latest EP, Back At Sixes and Sevens, featuring acoustic renditions of six cuts from her acclaimed At Sixes and Sevens project.

The six-track EP begins with a version of “…Exclusively” which trades out the mellow synths of the original for piano and guitar accompaniment. “Collide,” originally featuring EarthGang, has likewise been stripped down into an unplugged ballad that lets Tiana’s soulful vocals truly shine. Things quieten further on the guitar-led interpretations of “Lucky,” “Think About You” and “Real Affair;” before closing out with fan favorite “Same Space?”.

The release was also accompanied by a dreamy video of Tiana delivering a minimal live performance of the EP. The sepia-toned visual depicts the R&B singer and her two-piece band performing the record from a homely studio.

Back At Sixes and Sevens follows the August release of the original EP. Most recently, Tiana performed a remote set for NPR’s Tiny Desk performance series that included four songs off At Sixes and Sevens.
