The Weeknd unveils deluxe edition of ‘After Hours’

He also pays homage to ’80s slasher films in the video for “In Your Eyes.”

Just days after releasing his highly anticipated After Hours album, The Weeknd—aka Abel Tesfaye—has returned with a deluxe edition of the LP.

The expanded version offers remixes that feature appearances from Lil Uzi Vert and DaHeala (on “Heartless”), Chromatics and Johnny Jewel (“Blinding Lights”) and The Blaze (“After Hours”). It also includes the singer’s live rendition of “Scared to Live” from his Saturday Night Live performance.

Hours after the release of the After Hours deluxe, Tesfaye also dropped a video for “In Your Eyes.” The visual draws inspiration from ’80s slasher films and stars the singer as a knife-wielding killer. In the clip, which picks up where the After Hours short film left off, model Zaina Miuccia tries to escape from Tesfaye, who always seems to be one step ahead.
