The Weeknd is apparently dropping a song for ‘Game of Thrones’

Featuring SZA and Travis Scott.

The Weeknd, SZA and Travis Scott are reportedly releasing a song together for the eighth and final season of HBO’s Game of Thrones. The new season premieres April 14.

According to Pitchfork, a source close to the project claims that the new track is due “soon.” Rumors of the collab first sparked on Reddit and a Travis Scott fan page, Pitchfork noted. GoT’s official Instagram page also posted promo clips that featured an instrumental track similar to The Weeknd’s signature sound.

Last year, HBO announced that it has partnered with Columbia Records to release an album of original songs inspired by the hit TV series in celebration of the show’s sendoff. Although HBO didn’t confirm the list of artists involved, it did promise that “diverse music genres” will be included in the upcoming project. The show previously recruited Ed Sheeran to write a song for its seventh season.
