The Internet’s highly anticipated fourth album, Hive Mind, is arriving real soon. But before the record drops in full, the R&B outfit have just shared their latest offering, “La Di Da.”
Similar to their previous Hive Mind singles, like “Roll” and “Come Over,” “La Di Da” carries the same laid-back, groovy nature. The track hears Syd teaming up with Steve Lacy to deliver their smooth vocals over funky guitar riffs and bouncy basslines. “I just came to dance / Wanna move / I can’t with you / Sayin’ la di da, la di da,” the duo sing on the irresistible hook.
Hive Mind arrives this Friday and is the follow-up to the band’s 2015 Grammy-winning album, Ego Death.
