The-Dream has returned with an ambitious, three-part album titled Ménage à Trois: Sextape Vol 1, 2, 3.
The R&B artist, who’s written for many an A-lister from Britney Spears to Beyoncé, has stayed out of the spotlight for a while now. Ménage à Trois, which is a whopping 38 songs long, is his first album since 2013’s IV Play.
Though The-Dream is in the habit of shelving and hoarding old recorded material, all of Ménage à Trois is “new shit,” he told Billboard. “I didn’t cut any corners of edginess. I just stuck to what my root was, because that’s what happens.”
“There are no features or fillers,” he pointed out later in the interview. “I’m really happy about it and proud of it.”
