Solange recently treated the audience of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to a “mini-concert” of songs from her recent album, When I Get Home.
The singer opened with the album’s opening track, “Things I Imagined,” supported by a stellar brass section and two backup singers. She then transitioned into “Down With the Clique” and “Binz,” while a troupe of dancers filled up the stairs on an elevated stage behind her.
Solange wrapped up the nine-minute set with “Almeda.” As she performed the closing song, a ghostly figure dressed in sparkly streamers crept up behind her, mirroring the visuals from When I Get Home’s accompanying performance-art film.
