Solange hints at new music on BlackPlanet page

She’s set up a page on the old-school social networking site.

We’ve been waiting for Solange’s next album to drop and her new page on the classic social networking site, BlackPlanet, may finally lead to some fresh insights into what’s to come from her.

“Find me on black planet !!” Solo tweeted a few days ago, linking to a page with cryptic lines (“For the bad weaves and two ways,” “But I did not sit in the sun”), behind-the-scene clips as well as posed shots. Her profile pic consists of a collection of photos from her A Seat at the Table era, as well as her upcoming tour dates.

Last October, Solange told the New York Times’ T Magazine that her next album will be jazz-infused with “electronic and hip hop drum and bass,” and only let on that it will drop “at some mysterious and unexpected moment.”

But now, Solo fans know to stay hooked on her BlackPlanet page, since any new hints are bound to turn up there.
