Queen Naija drops “Pack Lite” MV, directed by Teyana Taylor

The song interpolates Erykah Badu’s 2000 hit, “Bag Lady.”

Queen Naija has released a throwback video for her latest song, “Pack Lite.”

The retro clip was directed by Spike Tey, the alter ego of fellow R&B singer Teyana Taylor. Set in 1960s Atlanta, the visual captures Naija as a cabaret singer who suspects her neglectful husband of cheating.

After a quarrel, Naija decides to leave him and pours her heart out during an emotional performance at the nightclub. But Naija’s husband later shows up at her workplace and the clip ends with a heartwarming closer you’ll have to see for yourself.

“Pack Lite,” which was released last week, follows the Wale remix of “Butterflies Pt 2.” Earlier this year, Naija teamed up with Tee Grizzley on “Mr Officer.”
