Nao, Lianne La Havas collaborate on “Woman”

An empowering tribute to women around the world.

Nao has released “Woman,” a collaboration with Lianne La Havas and her first single in almost two years.

Both singers complement each other beautifully on “Woman,” an empowering yet sensual R&B/funk track. In the accompanying music video, Nao and La Havas sing from the frames of windows and mirrors amidst magical clouds and warm landscapes of orange trees and red mountains.

“This is a song Lianne and I are so happy to put out into the world,” Nao wrote on Instagram. “I truly believe this is the start of a new dawn where being a woman—[especially] a woman of colour—can and should be celebrated. This is our time! We all deserve to be celebrated.”

“Woman” is Nao’s first release since her 2018 album Saturn, which featured the tracks “Make it Out Alive” featuring SiR and “Another Lifetime.” La Havas, on the other hand, released her third, self-titled album last month.
