Mariah the Scientist’s second album, ‘Ry Ry World,’ is here

Atlanta R&B crooner Mariah the Scientist has dropped her sophomore album, Ry Ry World.

Released on July 10 via RCA, the album’s ten-song tracklist includes guest spots from Young Thug and Lil Baby, on the cuts “Walked in” and “Always n Forever” respectively.

Alongside the album drop, the singer also unveiled a video for the new single “Aura.” In the visual, Mariah is dressed in a long red coat as she traverses a vast snowy terrain, running away from arrows.

“To tell you how I believe you are a rainbow / All the Heaven I need to see / You’re my promise everlasting, / Where you are, I hope to be,” she sings over pulsating production.

Eventually in the clip, she gets shot and falls to the ground before the camera pans up to the aurora-filled sky. The visual reprises the motif of the cover for Ry Ry World, which features the singer pierced in the heart by an arrow.

Ry Ry World follows the singer’s 2019 major label debut, Master. In 2020, Mariah also dropped the track “RIP.”
