Mahalia, Ella Mai torch a car in the video for “What You Did”

Hell hath no fury like women scorned.

British singers Mahalia and Ella Mai have released a fiery video for their collab, “What You Did,” from the former’s latest album, Love and Compromise.

The clip opens up on Mahalia and Mai wandering around various hallways, telling their exes they can’t be forgiven. “What you did / You know I love you but I can’t forgive it / You could tell me stay, but I have to go / ’Cause I would not expect someone to stay around if I let them down,” the duo sing.

Around the one-minute-mark, the visual cuts to a retro black-and-white scene, the duo channelling major Aaliyah with ’90s-inspired outfits. At the end of the video, the crooners blow up a car and watch as it’s engulfed by the flames.

Mahalia’s Love and Compromise, which came out last week, also includes the Burna Boy collab “Simmer.” On the other hand, Mai dropped a video for her single “Shot Clock” back in January.
