Lolo Zouaï has dropped a captivating video for “Caffeine,” a standout from her debut album High Highs to Low Lows.
The video, which was directed by Nathalie Canguilhem, is filled with beautifully composed, eye-catching scenes. The French-American artist pops the tab of an energy drink in a supermarket aisle, stands atop a pile of neon green tires, sits on the hood of a car as dirt bikers circle her and more. Everything feels heightened, evoking the feeling of ingesting too much, well, caffeine.
This crisp visual couldn’t be further from the grainy, Super 8 film-centric approach she took for the “Summers in Vegas” video earlier in the month. Watch the “Caffeine” clip here:
