Innit Records has released “Lucifer,” a song from the late Charles Bradley, who died of stomach cancer in 2017.

The track is the second of two songs made by the soul singer during a 2016 recording session with producer James Levy, following April’s “Lonely as You Are.” On “Lucifer,” the late Bradley addresses his mortality while calling out a then-changing political climate. “Obama, you done what you had to do, change the world / Squeeze me, darling, come on, woo / I know Lucifer was in heaven, was in heaven / I know Lucifer was in heaven, too,” he sings.
