Listen to SZA cover Wheatus’ “Teenage Dirtbag”

She performed the song at Splendour in the Grass Festival in Australia.

Over the weekend, SZA performed a rendition of “Teenage Dirtbag” during her headlining set at Australia’s Splendour in the Grass Festival.

The CTRL singer is no stranger to taking on iconic hits, having covered Aretha Franklin’s “Day Dreaming” and Sixpence None the Richer’s “Kiss Me” earlier this year. This time, it was the Wheatus classic’s turn to receive the SZA treatment.

The Top Dawg Entertainment artist also performed part of a new song titled “Brace Yourself.” While she has yet to release new solo material this year, she has participated in several collabs. In May, the singer joined The Weeknd and Travis Scott on “Power is Power” for the Game of Thrones compilation album, For the Throne. She also appeared on “Just Us” by DJ Khaled.
