Listen to Ebhoni’s groovy new song, “Hit This”

A dancehall-inspired bop.

Ebhoni has shared her bold new single, “Hit This,” which was inspired by her Caribbean roots.

Featuring an infectious dancehall-style beat, the energetic track is characterized by the Canadian singer’s fervent swagger as she tells a story about a woman who knows her worth. “When you hit this, ain’t no coming back / I’m on your wishlist but where your money at? / And when you hit this, it’s like a running back / You see this thick, thick and it’s crack, crack,” she sings over IzyBeats’ production.

Ebhoni co-wrote the track with Major Lazer’s Walshy Fire. “Working on ‘Hit This’ was a straight vibe in the studio!” she said in a statement. “I was in Miami working and made ‘Hit This’ day two in the studio, and everyone was like, ‘We want energy on this track!’”
