Kelly Rowland has returned with the release of her EP K.
The six-track offering arrived almost a month after Rowland welcomed her second child, Noah Jon. It includes tracks such as “Flowers” as well as the previously released “Crazy” and “Hitman.”
The EP dropped alongside a Lloyd Pursall-directed visual for “Flowers,” which features a then-pregnant Rowland strutting around a gigantic mansion in a crimson dress with protruding feathers. She pulls away canvases to reveal a troupe of dancers who then break out into a passionate dance routine.
“Time won’t slow down, for no one / If I don’t do it now, I’ll blow it / The way you hold me down, I owe it / I know you see me now, I’m glowing,” she croons on the opening verse of the soulful track.
K follows the release of her 2019 EP The Kelly Rowland Edition, which featured songs such as “Don’t You Worry,” “Diamonds” and “See Me.” In October, she released a video for “I Get it,” her contribution to the soundtrack of Hulu original film Bad Hair, which she also starred in.
