Kehlani releases ‘quarantine-style’ video for “Toxic”

Even the coronavirus can’t stop the singer from vibing out.

Kehlani might be in self-isolation but it doesn’t mean she isn’t having fun. Yesterday, the singer dropped a steamy, self-shot video for her latest break-up anthem, “Toxic.”

The grainy clip features the singer in different fabulous outfits, seductively twerking for the camera. The ‘quarantine-style’ visual was filmed, directed and edited by Kehlani herself. “I was red wine drunk tonight and locked myself in my room for an hour never edited a video before s/o iMovie on the Mac,” the singer wrote on Instagram. “my director name Hyphy Williams.” Kehlani also introduced the #ToxicChallenge, joking that “social distancing got y’all in the house bussin shit too.”

“Toxic” is the latest in a string of singles from Kehlani. Earlier in the year, she dropped the songs “All Me / Change Your Life,” and “Valentine’s Day (Shameful).” She also released a collab with her former partner YG titled “Konclusions.”
