JMSN doesn’t want to get “Explicit” in new MV

Flip phones haven’t looked this cool in a while.

JMSN has unveiled an oddball music video for his track “Explicit.”

In the bare-bones visual directed by Sebastian Maldonado, the alt R&B crooner performs the track while brandishing a retro flip phone, dressed very fashionably in nerdy sunglasses, a white tee and blue jeans.

Over the smooth and funky self-produced cut, the Detroit native cheekily sings about being misunderstood. “Tell me how come every time I wanna kick it, baby (how come every time, baby, never wanna kick it) / You just think I wanna get explicit,” he sings.

“Explicit” is the third music video to come from JMSN’s 2018 album, Velvet. He previously dropped a video for “Real Thing” last November.
