Jessie Ware’s new single “Please” lights up the dancefloor

As part of the deluxe version of ‘What’s Your Pleasure?’ coming in June.

British singer Jessie Ware has released an energetic new single, “Please.”

The track is another dose of the infectious nu-disco grooves that filled her hit album last year, What’s Your Pleasure?. Over buoyant synth bass and tightly constructed drums, Ware croons classic lines on romantic yearning: “I want a place / Where golden moments last forever / Face to face / You look like someone I could treasure.”

“Please” is one of six tracks featured on the deluxe version of What’s Your Pleasure?, titled The Platinum Pleasure Edition. The deluxe edition will arrive on June 11.

“‘Please’ is full of optimism and ready to be played in a place where we can all be together and flirt, dance, touch and kiss. A wonderful excuse not to stop the party from ending,” Ware commented in a press statement.

“I had such an amazing response to the What’s Your Pleasure? record that I didn’t want the lights to go up and the party to be over just yet!” she added. The new songs will also include a collaboration with Kindness titled “Please, 0208.”

Featuring the tracks “Adore You,” “Save a Kiss” and “Step into My Life,” What’s Your Pleasure? landed Ware a nomination for Album of The Year at this year’s BRIT Awards, scheduled to be held on May 11. The singer was also nominated for the Best Female Solo Artist category, alongside Dua Lipa, Arlo Parks, Celeste, and Lianne La Havas.
